"Our experience at the Hilton Garden Hotel was mediocre, with a pretty rough start: we arrived at night and realized immediately how the pictures representing the room and hotel on the Expedia website were not representing the reality. The Hotel and specifically our room were absolutely outdated, carpet was dumped with humidity, furniture, microwave and mini fridge were old. The room was a King Bed one with ocean view and the glass window was absolutely dirty, like it hadn't been cleaned for...

"Royal Sonesta is always clean, modern and special. It’s an amazing hotel and worth the price for a mountain or ocean view. Beach access plus that pool?! Perfect. Kalapaki beach is a favorite beach for locals and surfers, but never too crowded. The mountain views are breathtaking. The higher the floor, the better the view! I am a local who has since moved to the mainland, but Kalapaki beach is always what feels like home to me, so I love staying here and feeling extra special being a hotel guest....

"This is a beautiful property! It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the area as well. Lots of fun shopping and dining options nearby. We booked here to be close to our early morning Nāpali coast hike and it was perfect for that, only a 30 minute drive to the trail head. "We were so happy to see the sunrise over the oceon every morning from our room. We loved that bike rentals were free and the Kapaa bike path was so nearby. Glad to have filtered water in the lobby. Enjoyed the clean pool and the lawn chairs in the grass area overlooking the oceon. Pastries and coffee could have been better, but were convenient still, and free. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. "

"Pool was nice, but the beach just behind it was even better! The resort villas, were updated recently, looking very nice and big king bed. It was pretty quiet, and room service every day. The onsite restaurants onsite were really good and reasonably priced. But, even better is there were many other options within easy walking distance. A long constant sand beach to many other resorts as well."

"The views were amazing. The room was lovely, although it could use updating and there was a weird stand in our tub. However, it was cleaned and the bed was quite comfortable. The pool was lovely and you could tell it was well maintained. My only complaint in that area would be the towel bar was not open the entire time. We did not get the opportunity to experience this spa. The food at rumfire was quite good, although a little overpriced. However, this is Hawaii and everything is. The service....

"Great location. Older run down unit. Staff was nice but unable to resolve our issue that we did not have a Roku remote for the streaming on TV; we managed without streaming after requesting assistance 2x. One window AC unit— in BR. Living room was never cool. Had to keep curtains drawn all day so as to not overheat the unit. Tired furnishings. Needs an update."

"great view, nice to have two rooms plus a balcony. small kitchenette added bonus. the pool area is huge with many places to lounge and enjoy the day. the onsite restaurant was delicious. if you want to be in the middle of the island, this is a great option. "

"Oceanfront room and it was great. Beautiful sunrises. Comfortable. Great food outlets next door at Coconut Market place including prime rib at the ABC store! Love it, you can't beat the location within walking distance of Lava Lave for music, drinks, breakfast or dinner."
