"Hotel was nice enough. Directions to our room were not clear at all. Staff talked too fast, too quiet, marked up a map in a sloppy, not helpful way so we roamed the property before having to ask for help. Construction made access to our room with heavy bags challenging as they had to be carried up and down a handful of stairs. It would have been nice to have vending machines available in building 1 not just water and ice. Parking was additional cost and also confusing. Valet staff were the best...

"My wife and I stayed at Aston Islander on the Beach for our honeymoon, making this trip especially meaningful. While the location is excellent, several issues impacted our stay. Upon arrival, we did not receive the advertised shell lei greeting and had to request it after seeing other guests receive one. We also booked an oceanfront room but were assigned a room that appeared to be ocean view, despite being told it qualified as oceanfront. We experienced ongoing Wi-Fi and cable issues,...

"Clean room, beautiful view, nice pool, quick and convenient breakfast. The bikes were a nice amenity, but difficult to find one the right height as not adjustable. The staff were all very friendly as well!"

"Definitely an older hotel but the view, welcoming staff, and very well maintained grounds make it worth it. Very easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and numerous food carts. We just left and are already planning our next visit!"

"Easy access to shopping centers and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The area is noisy from early morning to evening with automobiles and people talking outside. The air units are noisy as well. Our telephone wouldn’t connect when we wanted to request the front desk. Not all the electrical plugs worked and the remotes did not work with the television or air units."

"From the concierges, to the valets, to the poolside wait staff, to the housekeeping, the hospitality was wonderful! We made the mistake of doing Uber instead of a rental car. Not the smartest idea considering it is really easy to get an Uber from the airport to Princeville, but very hard to get an Uber while at the hotel. The valet manager and staff were very helpful in arranging other transportation for us, and even drove us to and from the hotel to the the Princeville Market so we could try...
