#NationalPark My wife standing near a large lava flow. Check out the lava above and beneath her. You have to respect lava if you venture into the active areas. If you slip and fall the consequences are bad. Lava reaches temperatures of 2200 degrees which will vaporize wood. It almost feels like tapioca when you put a stick in it.

The room was very nice and had a water fall feature that really added to the ambiance and enhanced our experience there. They had e-bikes available that gave us a unique experience in the park. Wish we had spent 2 nights. "
