Rather old and tired and in need of an upgrade but clean enough, bed comfortable and staff friendly. Easy couple of minute walk to town for shops and restaurants for breakfast or dinner.

Jeff (hotel staff onsite) was friendly and professional — from when my husband arrived to when we departed. We really enjoyed our stay at the Julian Lodge, especially the proximity to Main St. where all of the shops and restaurants are located — everything is walkable! Next time we are in town, the Julian Lodge is where we will stay and recommend to all of our friends and family!

Staff was helpful and responsive. Rooms were nice and clean. Close to anything you’d need. Would stay again! Note that all of the rooms require walking up stairs.

We had a great time. The room was exactly what we had helped for. It’s not fancy but it’s very clean and comfortable. We were right downtown so it was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go.

Last time we stayed there they served breakfast, but I was informed that hasn’t happened since the pandemic. Not a deal breaker, but still a disappointment. Otherwise the was great. Convenient location in town is a big plus!
