Friendly and accommodating! Hotel does need updated pillows and comforters. Hotel was sold out but was very quiet for being so busy. Nightstand was sticky but I would stay here again. It was a trip for our family for Holiday World.

Sweet suite.

Try to get the suite. Room 114. Larger than my first apartment. Strong shower with adjustable head, (massage function). Super hot water. Had to dial it way back. Kitchen, dining area, living area, two couches. Absolutely no complaints.

Adult trip weekend

The employees where very nice and fast to get problems solved. The second floor had a fowl smell in the hall way the leaked in to the room. House keeping could have been better. Allbthe lamps werr unplugged. Sobwe had to pull the bed out to find a plug and found a random shirt that did not belong to us so i left it there and scooted the bed back. Over all it was a decent stay

Front desk staff was very helpful in arranging a room late at night (2 am check-in) when we arrived a day earlier than expected. I sleep in later than the 9 am breakfast cut-off, so I never got to eat other than what hubby brought back to the room. Cleaning staff came before we were ready to leave our room each day and didn't return after we were gone, so they never serviced our room for the 4 nights we stayed, which was disappointing. Parking was convenient. Room was quiet, although this might have been because there were only a handful of other guests while we were there. It looked like the swimming pool was drained and unusable when we were there. Convenient location near restaurants and a major grocery store. OK overall, but check before booking if you want a pool, and recognize that breakfast ends pretty early.

Room 208 toilet broke, but over all good stay

We stayed in room 208. The room was OK. Seemed to be set up for industrial/business stay, not so much for couples. The toilet was not working properly, did not flush properly, and since it was a "high pressure assist" type toilet, we did not know how to make adjustments, or "assist' in making it flush correctly. We alerted the front desk when we checked out that there was a problem with the toilet, but that did not do much to ensure our stay while we were there. Honestly... you don't know how good you have it in life until your toilet doesn't work. Overall, was very clean. Provided all items for over night stay. Keycard worked but toilet did NOT!!

Balanced review

I stayed one night at your hotel during my visit to close by holiday World (29 min away). All of hotel staff I interacted with was very friendly and was your best attribute. The building and especially the rooms need major and minor updates to make the place better for guests and the proprietor. Fresh paint on the walls, some replacement or resurfaced furniture, an attention to some easly resolved appearance and comfort issues would be great. The hotel could move up in star levels and become my new favorite place to stay near holiday world. Prospective guests should consider this place if you can find 85 dollars a night plus tax. I noticed when I visited middle week that the hotel was not busy at all with guests, it certainly could be. Management you could use this temporary bad situation to make improvements to a few rooms at a time and rent those improved rooms out first to as you work though everything. On a side not you might want to put up multiple signs indicating where the only ice machine is. Btw I love the showers and not traditional tubes in the bathroom I was in. I am not sure if that is the same in every room or not. More effort should be spent on cleaning better both sides of bathroom pocket doors. I hope my review comes across fair as I intended it to be.
