"I had a great stay at the AC Hotel by Marriott New York Downtown. The location is perfect, close to the waterfront and within easy reach of restaurants, shops and subway stations. The room was modern, clean, and well-designed with all the essentials. Staff were professional and friendly, always ready to help with local tips. The overall atmosphere was calm and comfortable. No one ever came for 3 days, but then again I didn't ask for them. Ran out of tp the last day, but were leaving. "

"The hotel is in good location though some road construction in front of the hotel. The room was compact and rather small. However the view from the room looked nice. The amenities were very few and limited, no proper cup for coffee. The reception staffs were not very nice and helpful."

Carlos in reception was courteous and understanding and ready to help solve any problems particularly when Expedia and The Tillary Hotel were disastrous in getting my original reservation.
