We came to thus Hotel, whenever we come to Istanbul. We are Very happy stay in this hotel, staff are very friendly and location is awesome. If we would get a better Wifi, we will be more delighted
It was our first time in Istanbul for my husband and I am glad we stayed here. I booked a room with the seaside view & OMG, it was the right decision. The room had an amazing view & I couldn’t help but take a million pictures of the city. Who needs Galata tower if your hotel has a roof top bar & a swimming pool with an amazing 360 view? Also the hotel is located in a great neighborhood full of amazing restaurants.
Excellent service! They cleaned our room everyday and offered complementary water coffee and tea daily. The view from the pool is very nice but they close the pool early. Location is amazing!
Great location, great views from my room, staff friendly and helpful, good standards of service and cleanliness, good breakfast, reception very helpful with tours and bookings.
Gorgeous hotel in great location. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the pool only has about 3 seats around it and they told me that they couldn’t bring another chair out so I couldn’t really sit next to it/use it. Otherwise, lovely hotel and very good price.
Great location can walk straight into the nice side streets to start exploring. We hired a car and was busy area to navigate but was greeted with a member of staff who helped with bags and parked my car for me. Was a nice touch. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but was very happy with hotel and would stay here again.
A very nice hotel. İt is walking distance from everything. Also, it is located next to metro station. The room was very clean and it had amazing views of İstanbul. The breakfast was very good.
We liked proximity to that Main street, the tram and subway. Ease of getting a taxi. Our room was nice, bed comfy and room was kept clean. The complementary water, fruits and nuts was very nice and appreciated. Challenges, common areas of the hotel were smoky. The numerous taxis right outside the hotel is problematic trying to get in or out. Checkin was curt and unhelpful. Did not provide any useful information on the hotel or site seeing or maps.
Thank you Marmara Pera, whenever we travel to Istanbul, we stay in this beautiful hotel. Thank you for such a great customer service, and helping us with the refund. Because of this act of kindness, we will stay loyal and always return to this hotel in the future❤️
Great location, great breakfast, great customer service. Thanks again!
Great hotel, centrally located. There’s a train station not too far away, local attractions are a short walk away.
The staff are friendly and ready assist with anything. It’s always wonderful to be greeted by Mustafa-the house keeper, he makes sure rooms are clean and tidy.
The breakfast is amazing, a great spread of breads, salads and cheese.
Big shout to Asma who makes the best omelettes, always with a smile and she remembers you following day too:)
We couldn’t experience the pool as it was closed, they have a lovely restaurant on the roof top with great views of the city.
Everything was perfect ,Reception ,My room with a view on 15.th floor ,Jazz night at the lobby ( No music charge for hotel customers ) ,location ( restaurants, coffees around ,Price was reasonable ,Award winner restaurant at the roof ( Mikla ) .3 fast elevator ..the only problem is car parking ,If you leave to the valet ok but if you want to park by yourself electrical cars is not allowed at their garage ..I will definitely come again .Thanks ❤️❤️😻
The room was clean with great views over the marmara sea and towards the asian side. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. There’s robes and slippers. The shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and lotion were all zero parabens and zero soap. We weren’t able to use the pool as it was already cold and they have closed it for the season now. We did not include breakfast with our booking as we intended to eat out for most of the stay. The location of the hotel is just one street away from istiklal street and a few minutes walk to the galata tower and area which is so busy and buzzing at night. Amazing as its very close to everything. The karakoy tram to get to sultanahmet is also short walking distance downhill. Great stay. Will be back again, hopefully when there is a bosphorus view room available.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Before I begin, I just wanted to give a big shout out to Esme who was the MVP of the team here. She is the head chef responsible for a very good Burnt Basque Cheesecake (she does all the baking and food stuffs in the morning). And she is good. VERY GOOD. Warm and welcoming with a smile she made our omelettes, scrambled eggs etc perfectly. Just the way I like it. çok teşekkür ederim and Allah Raci Olsun.
That the only good thing about this overpriced hostelry is the staff. They are warm welcoming and friendly - just like the Turkish people in general. Nothing is too much trouble but ask nicely. They work here and if approached with respect will respond 10x in kind.
Okay as a five star I was expecting something special - which didn’t happen. The rooms are too small, dated, and need soundproofing / updating asap.
Location was fantastic, a minute’s walk to istiklal and easy connections / access to everywhere. The Pera Palace (opposite) looks a better bet and I have stayed at the Radisson Pera which was definitely better than this.
The rooftop view is stunning. Didn’t try the Mikla restaurant (have heard it’s Michelin 1 star but couldn’t get reservations and the staff were a bit snooty).
