Everything about this Turkish styled hotel was great. The staff and breakfast were great. The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes walk from the manic/amazing old town. Comfortable accommodation with family atmosphere

Stayed 7 nights, happy with our choice of the hotel. Staff very friendly and responsive, very good breakfast on roof top restaurant with great view of the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus. Location ideal for most important Old Town sights.

The staff was very nice and had delicious apple tea upon my arrival. They were very accommodating and even coordinated my airport pickup and drop off. I was surprised to find a personal note and a small souvenir when i entered my hotel room. The hotel was also walking distance to the hagia sophia and Blue Mosque. I really felt at home. I would stay here again. Thanks so much!

We received a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful corner suite with views looking out to the Sea of Marmara. Bountiful breakfast each morning on the rooftop terrace with seagulls soaring above. Friendly and hospitable hosts. Walking distance to Sultanhamet Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and Sultanhamet Square T1 Tram Stop. Truly an authentic and exceptional hotel.

Located within walking distance to The Blue Mosque, as well as plenty of shopping. The staff was great. There is a beautiful rooftop bar that we didn't want to leave. They also hold their breakfast buffet up there. This was our first trip to Istanbul, but I wouldn't hesitate to return to The Dersaadet

This is my second time staying here, having stayed here six months ago. The facility itself is quite old and has some inconveniences, but the staff were very kind and hospitable. I had a very comfortable stay. I received a Turkish amulet as a souvenir when I left. I would definitely stay here again if I come to Istanbul again.

Felt like visiting a Turkish grandma — warm, cozy, and full of charm This hotel stole my heart! It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting a sweet Turkish grandmother. The atmosphere was cozy, warm, and welcoming. The room was small, yes — but it had everything I needed, and I truly enjoyed staying there. There’s a lovely rooftop with a great breakfast and a beautiful view to start the day. Out of the five hotels I stayed at in Istanbul, this one was by far my favorite. Not the fanciest, but definitely the most charming.
