It is a very relaxing and leave your cares at home place. If you are looking for a place that you just enjoy the beach, the sun, the ocean, this is the place. The food was great! The staff was wonderful and always willing to help.

Heavenly!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. They have thought of every detail, from rooms that feel like sanctuaries to the large shower and outside sitting area. Everything is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious with many healthy options. The hotel and the island far exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Casa Las Tortugas and Holbox Island.

The quality of the food in all four restaurants on site was superb. The spa treatments were incredible. The atmosphere is serene. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to relax.

Lovely hotel with fabulous food. Very well manicured landscape and beautiful fire pit in the evenings. The beach loungers and ocean access is ideal. Many close beach bars and activities in walking distance. Great communication via WhatsApp.

A long essay would be helpful, but all I’m going to say is book your stay!!! Staff was amazing, very friendly, and attentive! The food at the hotel was delicious! Hotel is absolutely beautiful and very clean! Will definitely stay here again when in Holbox

Wife and I were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary and Casa Las Tortugas lived up to it's sterling reputation that we have been reading. We stayed in the Tucan room which is on the ground floor with walking access to beach. The staff is great and very friendly. We went in Sept 2025 which is the low season with limited staff but we still received great service. The is food is fresh and excellent. Every meal was an experience. We loved the afternoon activities...Salsa Lesson, writing class and painting classes. We did booked a spa session which was very freshing. They dont have the best spa facilities though.

This place is absolutely breathtaking! They genuinely foster an atmosphere of relaxation and camaraderie. At first, it took me a little while to adapt to the absence of a television in the room and the relatively simple amenities, but I soon discovered that the exceptional service and delectable food more than made up for it. Flor and Daniel, the front desk clerks, were wonderfully attentive and exuded warmth and friendliness throughout my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this hidden gem in Holbox; it’s an experience you won't want to miss!

The staff and this beautiful property was the perfect setting for our anniversary trip Bit a single thing could have made it better We are booking again in January it was a total relaxing, amazing trip. The food at the restaurant was really good it was close to other food options. Easy to walk to everything. The entire island was welcoming. Taking to planes, a 2 hr private car service, a ferry and a jeep taxi to the hotel was easy and very worth it!

Amazing stay I want to keep it a secret.

Incredible stay, our best hotel experience. The setting is incredible and we had a truely special stay. The staff were so friendly and kind we felt very looked after. A real gem on the island. The only minor comments we had are that the internet was poor in our room but it fit the ethos of the hotel to switch off from the world and we could have done with a fridge for cold refreshing water or full height mirror.

We stayed in a beautiful master suite, not ocean front but the size of the room and deck made up for that. The included breakfast was very good and the grounds were clean and well maintained. The beach is white sand and soft, with plenty of shelling if desired. The beach loungers are comfortable with plenty of shade available. The racoons were a bit off putting, they came on our deck and sat in our chairs. They're not too scared of you, so I kept the door closed and scared them off. But they're cute too, although they ate the urchins we had collected and left out to dry. The beach in this area is the best on the island, without the piers that were spaced on the beach to the south. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance to return. The water is warm, calm, and shallow. It was great swimming and paddleboarding. We also enjoyed fishing and the hotel cooked our grouper and snapper perfectly!

HOTEL LAS TORTUGAS IT IS IN A EXCELLENT LOCATION A WALKING DISTANCE FROM ALL THE RESTAURANTS AND STORES WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE MARINA THEY HAVE ALL THE BOATS TO THE TOUR TO THE SHARKS AND OTHER TOURS THE FOOD IT IS EXCELLENT THE RESTAURANT AND THE POOL ITS BEAUTIFUL AFTER A LONG DAY IN A TOUR YOU HAVE EVERYTHING AT WAKING DISTANCE AND VERY CONVIENENCE, THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND COMFORTABLES WITH AIR CONDITIONING AND SMALL MINI FRIDGE AND THEY PROVIDE WITH PURIFIED WATER EVERYDAY AND THE BEACH ITS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU, EVEN YOU CAN ORDER DRINKS OR FOOD TO THE BEACH. THE BEST YOU ARE NEXT TO POSADA MAWIMBI, WHERE THEY HAVE THE FASTEST BOAT TO GO TO THE SHARKS TOUR AND I HIGHLY RECOMEND TO TAKE THAT TOUR IN THAT BOAT JUST WALK NEXT DOOR.
