"The breakfast was top-notch, one of the best so far at the different hotels I've booked when I travel. The service was professional and courteous, including the neatness of the room and toilet. I will surely book this hotel whenever I visit Manchester."

"Good 1 night stay "

"A very run down hotel. We are used to staying in basic accommodation but this was not pleasant. We experience lots is negative things unfortunately, the worst being the smoke that we could smell in our room coming from the next door guests. There is definitely people living indefinitely here.The bathroom floor vinyl was Peeling off, carpet looked dirty and lots of hairs in the bathroom. I dislike leaving negative reviews, but this was an exception. The only positive was the parking. "

"Room was filthy, dirt on floor. Towels were dirty. No staff around to complain too. No coffee or tea in room either! Definitely not family friendly. I was staying alone and would not recommend "

"Hotel needs an update. Staff were nice enough and all the bits you need were there but the customer experience was lacking. Our room was lovely, if cold. The radiators only work part of the time. The characterful bathroom did not have a big enough radiator - no lingering in the bath with just a tidgy towel rail to heat you ( a tall ceiling and giant window.) There was very little phone signal (not their fault of course), but the wifi was atrocious, barely there and dropping out regularly -...

"I have now stayed here 3times in 6 weeks I love the place staff brilliant I travel to watch Wigan at rugby league 230 miles each time as for the beds the most comfortable I have had and I do not stay in the same room different each time wake up really refreshed love the place"

"Breakfast was good overall, however would have expected to see black pudding on the hot choice and the choice of bread was poor as the brown was very dry. The coffee in the machines did not taste as a quality brand."

"Friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds, breakfast was good. Nice central areas and amenities. Great location. All round would recommend if you are looking for a 'does what it says on the tin' and a bit more stay"

"Positives - beautiful hotel in great grounds. Had tea in the restaurant which was very good. Bed was huge. Negatives - couldn't get bath to work and my wife was kept awake during the night by noise in room next door. Use of the spa was £20 per person (which I was willing to pay) but was then told we couldn't use it until 5pm. We'd arrived at 3pm with plan to go in spa before our friends arrived later. "

"The breakfast was not a buffet but freshly made tomorrow from the kitchen which was wonderful and it was great. Did not use the pool . The bathroom is a cramped and would be for two adults. Parking is also not free so something to bare in mind."

"Everything is good and the only thing dislike is the price became lower on the day of check in hehe. Room is clean; aircon is cool; window able to open for ventilation; fast WiFi; hot shower pressure is stong; toiletries are tamper proof and smells nice; location is near Manchester Piccadilly station; cleaning is well done everyday (remember to hang the cleaning sign on your door before you leave the room); extra towels are available under the sink cabinet. "
