The property was clean and the room was perfect for what we needed however I wouldn’t book again due to the behaviour of the security guard. We had just arrived and he was hanging around our rooms which was pretty unsettling. We had booked two rooms and my son came to the 2nd room making little noise and was spoken to badly by this security man telling him to “get to his room now”. He then proceeded to tell us all to keep the noise down. We were making little noise and hadn’t even been in the hotel for a 10 minutes at this point. The security lets this hotel down and is the reason I wouldn’t return in the future.

Room was basic, but did the job. Parking is limited, with alternative option over the road (at McDonald's) for £15 overnight. Didn't bother with breakfast (£9). Free tea, coffee and filtered water is a nice touch. 24 hour bar! Easy walking to the tram stop. Pub over the road. Tesco metro 200m away.

If you are there for a night of sleep while out on a trip, go for it! Hallways, smell. My shower for some reason smelled like someone was cooking shrimp in there. Won't be coming back.

Staff was understandably good as had a slight problem with the booking on arrival, which was dealt with in favour. Room was clean, buffet breakfast which served it’s purpose, was good for short stay and what we needed. The location was excellent for Tram stop with pub and McDonald’s across the road. Visited IWM and Corrie experience and marathon weekend within easy walkable distances. Overall satisfactory.

I get that the hotel is a budget hotel which I appreciate. I wasn’t expecting the ritz but the room was very small and very hot . I had a terrible nights sleep. The air con didn’t work and you couldn’t have the window open because of cars and motorbikes racing up and down the road all night. The bed was comfortable but it was like sleeping in an oven .
