"Hotel was clean and staff helpful. Could hear neighbours next door who flouted the no smoking rule in rooms, but staff were courteous in sorting that out. Bar was reasonably priced. Would recommend."

"I would have given it 5 star's but for the "discretionary service charge" that was added to an already high nightly rate. Had I not asked about the charge I wouldn't have known it was discretionary. There is a lot of choice in Manchester now so the Treehouse will not be top of my list next time"

"Great value deal. Close to the centre of the city. Easy access to public transportation. Large room with windows. Not very clean but it is acceptable. Seperated toilet and shower. Nice and helpful staff. But please be aware to bring yourself a kettle and a cup with you. The room does not offer any of these."

"3 rooms booked, and the rooms were not provided and was turned away to go to another hotel as they was fully booked. I argued and then given rooms without no windows and very hot like a sauna. Please provide a refund as the reception said. "

"Dated rooms which could use some repainting etc. No main room light, only lamps which meant the room was quite dark. Thin walls meant that music and other activities in other rooms were audible. No room safe, no iron or ironing board (unsure if this would have been available on request). However, the staff were nice and the bed was comfy enough. The hotel was competitively priced but i’d recommend it solely for its location."

"It was good stay comfortable neet and clean but there is some things they can do better if you can sleep in 16degree temperatures in summer it’s good for you because you can’t open window , and can’t set the temperature below than that ….breakfast was fair fair not so good…"

" Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price For the price paid, this hotel fell well below expectations. The check-in process was slow and inefficient, setting the tone for the rest of the stay. Access to the spa was unnecessarily awkward — we weren’t given passes at check-in and had to chase this up ourselves. When we finally got in, the spa itself was underwhelming: not particularly clean and definitely not what you’d call modern. The room was another letdown. It was noisy, making it hard to relax, and despite booking for four people, it wasn’t properly prepared on arrival. We had to call three separate times before it was finally set up correctly — something that should have been done as a basic standard. Overall, it feels like this hotel is charging premium prices without delivering a premium experience. Wouldn’t return"
