"This is the perfect Adirondack lodging. We stayed in the motel in a double room. It had a spectacular view of the lake. The resort was very tranquil. Self check-in went smoothly. The grounds are very well-maintained. We enjoyed walking along the dock for a close view of the lake front. The property has Adirondack seating with spectacular views, fire pits, and lodge amenities like board games available. The continental breakfast was just what we needed as was the late evening dinner at Lean To restaurant. We will definitely be back!"

David and Daniela are great hosts, the location is excellent being located right on long lake with so many other ADK attractions within easy driving range. Can not recommend Sandy Point motel enough! "I've stayed here before and returned twice recently because it's very reasonably priced, very clean and has amenities to make you more comfortable that other places I've stayed don't necessarily have. The Maple Leaf was a great find for me since I've stayed at a few other places in Schroon Lake which were OK, but this is my favorite spot to stay."

"Although we were at Paddler’s Rest briefly, we would return again to enjoy all of the amenities. The private sandy beach, indoor game room, and free use of kayaks and canoes were a huge bonus. The refrigerator in the motel room was sizable. The staff were welcoming and quick to give us dining suggestions."
