"so what we didn't know when we booked was this is Love Bug Season. Thousands of them in the air. on the exterior walls. at the poo, bar, etc. in the room- our first room, which was located off the pool. had to go through a gauntlet of bugs just to get in- and once in, they were on the floors, bed, walls, bathroom, etc. Called the front desk- i didnt even have to ask- they said bugs? i said yes. they moved us immediately to an interior room. otherwise staff was super helpful. they have shuttle that runs easily and got us to and from where we needed to go. i would stay again. just making sure to book an interior room. or ask about the love bugs."

"Beautiful hotel. Bed was comfortable, pillows fluffy, and linens thick. Staff was so very friendly, kind and helpful. We were unable to visit the pool or hot tub but looked excellent. Had a magnificent view of the ocean. Would highly recommend."

"No towels, no tea in the lobby area. You basically have to ask for everything. Breakfast is very poor, so I will not recommend staying here. Maybe for one day maximum."

"Coffee maker was filthy front desk replaced it immediately with a new one, the bathroom mirror lighting needed to be brighter, and there is peeling paint in the unit. Spectator oceanfront view and the staff provided excellent service. Check your receipt before leaving I was charged a breakfast that I didn’t have it was deducted after I complained no problem "

"Charming, old style hotel. Roomy, with kitchenettes and other useful amenities. Steps from the beach. Just a lovely place. Cannot wait to revisit - next time for at least 3 nights. Great shopping and restaurants within easy 3-5 minute driving distance"

"We arrived to find that we were required to use and pay for Valet parking despite the hotels advertisement that self-parking was available. If there was text to the contrary it was buried and hidden. At the very least either a credit for parking should be given or spaces reserved for hotel guest parking. In the room the lamp between the two queen size beds as broken and hanging at an angle. The refrigerator compressor went on and off all night with a grinding sound. The air intake vent for the AC sounded like being in a wind tunnel. The room looks like it was decorated as an institution with minimal furniture and and minimalist walls and ceiling with cement being a major "decoration". IN fact the entire ceiling is cement so it felt like I was institutionalized. The only thing I liked was the bathroom. I will not be staying there again - decide what you want in a hotel - for me this is not it."

"Let me start with how great the staff was! Warm and welcoming. Answered all our questions. The only negative was the amount of and lack of amenities. The bar closed at 5pm, one hour after check-in. The breakfast consisted of store bought muffin or danish and starbucks black coffee (purchase required for all). The attendant that helped us with bloody marys was awesome though. Awesome pool. Clean beach. Amazing sunrise view Great place to stay overall. All ocean view rooms with a balcony. Walmart right across the street for last minute items. It was pretty empty when we stayed. Late April 2026."
