"This hotel probably gets 4 stars due to having the spa (extra €57 per room) and other amenities. But it's a country hotel in a fantastic location with outstanding views of the lake. A reasonably priced restaurant (best to book) serves good food and the breakfast buffet provides an excellent selection but is very Spanish which works for us. i would stay here again."

"We had a really great experience at the Kimpton Los Monteros, Marbella for 11 days at the end of June and into July 2026. This was our second stay, having spent a few days at the Kimpton in December 2025. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody considering spending some time in or near Marbella, particularly great was the rooftop bar and the social hour, where you were able to have free drinks, to include wine beer and cava. "Location is good. It's down a narrow street with limited parking so you have to drop your bags off outside the hotel and then park. Great views from the terrace. Restaurant was full the night which was a shame as the view from it was very good. There are restaurants nearby. The hotel description says it has access to a pool. Don't know where this is as there is no pool at the hotel."
