"Location of its facility is surrounded by magnificent and beautiful mountains with lots of green, atmosphere is totally different from big city Tokyo. The owner of pension is quite friendly, and capable to treat guest with "omotenashi" from his long experience. "
"All the outdoor furniture (table and benches) on the terrace (including the wood deck) were completely covered in yellowish dusty pollen and had
to be cleaned in order to be used. We sat down unknowingly and our clothes got really dirty from all the pollen.
The rubber outdoor sandals were only one size and too small. I’m a womens US size 9 or 39 European size.
I had enormous trouble signing into my YouTube account on the tv, which wasn’t the case last time I stayed at a different Rakuten stay...
"The staff were friendly and the breakfast was simple (green salad, two egg fries, bread with butter and jam, fruits, and a pot of coffee or black tea) but delicious. "Property is clean but dated. The indoor playground is wonderful for my kids. The buffet meals were great and had a wide variety. Definitely would recommend and come back. "

"If you're looking for an onsen experience this is the place! We were welcomed as we drove up the windy mountain road to the hotel. The check in experience was calm and efficient. Dinner, breakfast and private bath times chosen. The baths are wonderfull, overlooking the river and with views down the forested valley. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, although our kids sadly didn't feel adventurous enough. It was a truly magical experience on our first trip to Japan."
