"Good quiet location on the edge of Bridgwater looking out onto fields. Busy pub mid-week in April when we were there with people sitting out enjoying the weather. Good dinner and breakfast."

"At the arrival and going to our room there was only 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel I asked at the reception to have 1of each brought to our room but it did not happened also the bathtub is either very badly stained or just not cleaned properly so we felt that we could not have a shower in it The hotel bar was very good and staff very friendly the breakfast was very nice plenty of everything Thank you we still enjoyed our stay"

"We booked about an hour before we were due to arrive and everything was excellent with our room. Considering the price the rooms are set up with anything you might need (even including a bottle opener!) We were welcomed by very helpful staff."

"The staff were really helpful and accommodating. The room was clean enough, but there was a chip in the bath and a few cobwebs around. It was very basic and the TV was very small for the size of the room. We only ended up eating in the restaurant on 1 day, as we did not feel that there was a lot of choice and due to the size of the room it was very noisy and you could not have a conversation with whoever you were with. I understand about not taking drinks etc outside, but I feel that they...

"A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again."

"The Angel has a convenient location for exploring Cardiff. It feels like stepping into the opulence of yesteryear. The room itself was well appointed, albeit small. I booked a single room, and was surprised to have a double bed. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was prepared for the heat wave with a fan already placed in the room upon my arrival."
