Great place to stay!

From the time I stepped into the lobby, I was instantly greeted...the female hotel clerk was very nice and it was easy to check in...the room I had was a smokers room but didn't even smell of smoke at all...😊😊😊 The room was clean and bed was fully made up... bathroom was very clean as well ...the housekeeping staff did an excellent job...this was a nice place to stay...would definitely come back...

I usually stay at the Hilton but the rooms and facilities are better at The Palace. Even though it’s not in an ideal neighborhood, I felt safe. The hotel is also right next door to several good restaurants, a planet fitness and Specs. And you can’t beat the price.

Great motel near the highway

This is a newer motel. Rooms are big, spacious and modern, Decor is pretty new. Rooms are cleaned daily. It is near a major highway, so it is easy to get around Houston. The price is, IMO, appropriate for this type of property

This place is absolutely a hidden gem of Houston. The staff were friendly, and the room was in brand-new condition. I go to Houston a lot, so I have stayed at different hotels in the area. They used to have a unique “smell” which most of the time made me feel uncomfortable, but this Palace Inn wasn’t like that. Definitely will come back.

Rooms are clean and roomy. It's a bit noisy but what can you expect?? it's right next to a six lane highway!! Front desk is friendly. there's coffee and snackcavailable 24/7. High utility to value ratio. I have paid 3 times this much for less comfort.

I have to say that we had to check out early due to noise on the property, but everything else about the property is excellent. There was noise from the highway, noise from the parking lot, noise from the neighbors. However there was a wedding party that had booked most of the rooms and the staff notified us that there are normally rooms that are shielded from the highway noise that were booked at the time. If you are a heavy sleeper, this may not be an issue, but it was a problem for us. However, the rooms were immaculate, the refurbishing work was very well done, and the staff is friendly, attentive, professional. In fact, one of the better staffs I have had at any hotel. They listened and were as responsive as they could be, they were friendly and nice to talk to. They even assisted me getting a refund since I had to check out for reasons beyond my own control (I couldn't sleep...). I would give the staff 15 out of 10 if I could. Simply excellent. There is a variety of food within walking distance as well. And it is location next to 59, so you can get wherever you need as fast as Houston traffic will allow. The noise is the *only* reason I can't give more stars and honestly I wish I could.
