"This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls. The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally."

"Mal servicio, llegamos a la habitación y no habian toallas ni una sola, fui al lobby y ni siquiera me las llevaron si no que me hicieron esperar para que yo misma las llevara, reservamos una estadia por 3 dias y unicamente habia un rollo de papel de baño, era reservacion para 4 personas y solamente habian dos botellas de agua, cafetera sin cafe una silla manchada como de popo, aunque el hotel luce muy bien le falta mucho para una buena estadia. Otro punto muy mal es que es durante el dia es parqueadero publico y tienes que andar buscando quien mueva los carros para poder salir. Y si sales despues de las 8 pm tienes que ir al loby a avisar para que puedan abrir y cabe menciknar que esta en una area super traficada y cuesta salir del area"

"The national teachers union had thousands of their members staying in tents around the hotel and the surrounding area. They were justifiably unhappy about their scandalously low wages and changes to their pensions. The protesters were exceptionally nice people and the hotel staff maintained a respectful atmosphere in a challenging environment. I can’t say enough nice things about the young man who carried my bag for two blocks to pick up my Uber to the airport. Terrific service on his part. Belle Artes should be proud of their entire staff that showed up for work every day.Im sure it wasn’t easy. From housekeeping to the front desk;great job! Richard"

"We were delighted to spend one night at this glorious hotel! A throw back in time with a beautiful stained glass ceiling and the feeling of opulence all around. Nothing makes you feel more alive than waking up in the middle of the historic district right next to the grand plaza. Taking breakfast in the Terrace reserved just for hotel guests overlooking the National Palace was a welcome treat. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Having this beautiful hotel as an outpost with a busy day in the historic district was perfect! Lovely staff, exceptional service- all around impressive."

"The room and bathroom were clean, and the housekeeping staff was very polite. The entire staff was friendly, especially the restaurant team, who provided excellent service. The front desk staff was courteous; however, they were not very helpful in accommodating our request to have all three rooms for our group located together. Despite my request, we were assigned rooms on three different floors. We were told the hotel was fully booked, but it did not appear to be the case. The main drawbacks were the lack of a refrigerator in the room and the shower. The water pressure was low, and the showerhead caused water to splash everywhere, making it uncomfortable to use. Overall, the staff was pleasant and the hotel was clean, but a few improvements would make the stay much more enjoyable."
