"I loved my stay at Torbay Guest house. It is located on a quiet road within a few minutes walk to the beach. The breakfast was amazing and freshly-prepared. James was an amazing host, very friendly and attentive. Near the train station or bus stop. James gave me great recommendations for local places to visit.i walked to Brixham from the guesthouse . The path to there was stunning and alongside the coast. Amazing views and calm. I would definitely look to come and stay here again if I am ever...
"We booked very last minute, due to an unforeseen problem with our holiday cottage. When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. Absolutely delicious, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to order and v attentive staff throughout."
"A wonderful hotel across the road from the beach. Check in was very easy, the gentleman was happy and informative. The room had everything we needed including a fan, clean, well kept and beautifully simple. Very quiet at night, with a comfortable bed, breakfast was brilliant with multiple choices, cooked quickly and the chef was great. The garden was great especially in the evenings and the bar was reasonably priced. All the staff we met were happy to chat or recommend a place to go.

Access was easy and instructions regarding everything were in the folder in the room.

"This is a fantastic hotel to stay in. The owners Jane and John go above and beyond to make your station enjoyable. The decor is beautiful and very in keeping with the age of the hotel. All the bedrooms are individually designed with a great deal of style and thought. There is a pretty terrace overlooking the garden and ample parking. "A glorious stay in room 412 which for us (couple and 4y/o on a sofa bed) was absolutely perfect. Double balcony with the most wonderful views, well proportioned room with everything we could need and a very nice touch of a complimentary welcome Salcombe Gin & Tonic in our room!
Parking was convenient with the porter parking for us and was handled quickly and efficiently.
The pool facilities were beautifully clean and tranquil and enjoyed especially by our daughter on the child permitted...

"Charmante "house" (maybe Heaven au lieu de Haven) tenu par des hôtes délicats et charmants. L'accueil a été très bon et ils nous ont proposé spontanément une place de parking.
Les chambres sont petites mais très confortable et cocooning. La salle de bain est en longueur, mais elle fait le job, extrêmement propre.
Pour le petit déjeuner, il était copieux, chaud, frais et encore une fois, nos hôtes ont été au petit soin. Nous avons eu l'occasion d'échanger avec eux avec plus que des bavardages."
