"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. "We stay here because it is convenient for visiting family. The bed was comfortable however with the high temperature it was difficult to sleep. The fan is not adequate enough to cool down the room. We have stayed here lots of times however the shower in this room was the worst one that we had."

"I didn't feel that the breakfast justified the £13 price, so I probably wouldn't choose that again. The restaurant prices were about what I'd expect for a decent pub meal, and the pie was absolutely delicious – easily the highlight of the food for me. One downside was that the bar and seating area, which was the only comfortable place to sit and do some work on my laptop, closed at 9:30 pm. After that, there was nowhere suitable to work or socialise other than outside, the reception area, or returning to the room. The reception area wasn't really practical for working, and the room itself only had a small table, making it less suitable as a workspace. As a result, once the bar closed, you were effectively confined to your room for the rest of the evening. Would I stay there again? Possibly, if there were no better alternatives available, but it wouldn't be my first choice."
