"This is a 5 star hotel at a very reasonable price. I can't say enough about the amenities. DIning area outside is in a beautiful courtyard, so lovely and quaint but very well maintained and comfortable. Probably the nicest hotel we have stayed in yet on our vacation"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Catarina B&B! The hosts were incredibly warm and helpful; and the room and the whole facility were sparkling clean and charming. The homemade breakfast was fantastic, especially the freshly home baked goods every morning. Convenient location, quiet with walking and hiking options, yet close to the city and several restaurants near by. The view of Alps was breathtaking! "

Spending $700 a night means expecting seamless operational infrastructure, yet this hotel lacks 24-hour reception and round-the-clock room service. Great physical location cannot compensate for the restricted service and basic, uninspired room decor. "This is a perfect option for Annecy- situated on the lake within walking distance to the Plage des Marquisats and also to the historic centre. The hotel is very well maintained and the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We also enjoyed the terrace bar overlooking the lake, and the pool. If you have a car, parking is very conveniently situated on the premises."

"It's a little drive away from Annecy town. To do the journey by bus, you need to catch the number 3 then change to the number 12 at La Chapelle. The hotel itself is clean, check-in was easy, breakfast wasn't fancy but perfectly fine. My only downside is that it was very very hot while I was there and there was no drinking water available. There is one vending machine in the lobby and water was always sold out. I think the hotel could benefit from a couple of water coolers in the lobby or in...
