Hearst Castle has plenty of ancient sculptures to photograph in close detail as well as stunning architecture for the wide angle enthusiasts and even wildlife on the way up the hill. While it is expected that as a guest you keep your hands off of the art pieces almost nothing is roped off, so the visual authenticity of the estate is preserved! Great spot to spend the day.
