May De Ville Lakeside Hotel
Location cannot be beat and the staff is very helpful. It is close to the old quarter and the lake but far enough so you can’t hear all the city noise. Note on the weekend there are live performances until 10:30ish so don’t expect to sleep early:

Everything was good. Just the bfast variety is very limited and the food taste needs improvement. And the noise from the street is quite loud at night. Soundproofing needs be improved

La Siesta Classic Ma May
The hospitality was on another level. They went above and beyond to please us. Christmas is not a big holiday in Vietnam, but they put together a beautiful dinner with live traditional Vietnamese music, sparkly tablecloths, and Christmas decorations. I would love to return.
