"We stayed in a cabin withy ensuite, it was perfect. Nice and clean, adequate heating for the cold evenings and nights. The beds were comfy. The wee kitchen had a two hotplate and a microwave. The bench space was a bit squishy for everything but you just made it work. There was a bait station opposite our cabin which is very useful and we used it. The locality of the site is great near all the Rotorua lakes and handy to the city also"

We enjoyed the lakeside hot tub as well that was very clean although the light there looks like it needs to be replaced. Would be a great spot for large groups as well."

"Gorgeous view and location. Was unaware that the restaurant was closed due to flooding which was inconvenient as when we booked it said that the restaurant was still operational. Everything was a bit run down but clean and smelled great. Shower appeared to be a bit dirty around the edges and sink took a while to drain and toilet didn't flush well. "Pretty tired and probably doesn’t reflect the star rating it has, one spa pool way too hot (42deg) and the other way too cold (34 deg) the guy took the temp while we were there but considering they’re one of the main features not ideal. Pool was lovely and very warm easy to swim in in winter. Rooms definitely need an upgrade"

"Good location. When we booked, it was said that the breakfast was included, but the hotel tried to charge us. They accepted it when we gave them the confirmation. The room was spacious and the design was good, but things were worn out, from the doors, the heating system, the paint, etc."
