"I don’t know if all the rooms were the same, but I’m especially grateful to Marnie for giving me a brilliant room. All the space I needed with a shower that had hot water that was properly hot. Included a great breakfast. I’d definitely stay again if/when in the area."

Things to remember, they don't do breakfast but there are cafes and a hotel across the road for breakfast. The room was clean and well stocked for staying but a little dated. Very comfortable bed. "The staff were great but the property could do with a bit of an upgrade. Shower nozzle was blocked and the shower gel was empty. That being said it was not expensive and we had good craic with Dougie and the other locals in the bar."

The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. The room was super nice! Loved the bed, wonderfully warm and comfy. The view of Loch Earn was beyond words, so beautiful! Very nice size bathroom with big bathtub and shower. TV, mini-fridge, kettle, and Keurig amenities in the room. Kitchen and bar service very good. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Pet-friendly....

"Every time we come back to the Royal, it never ceases to disappoint. The staff are the people who make this such a special and charming hotel. The warmest of welcomes and we were so well taken care of. Attentive and polite customer services, similar to that of Ashford Castle, that seems to be lost in many establishments these days. The only complaint we had, was that the bedroom was cold even with the small radiator up to its maximum temperature, and the fires had not been lit in the bar area...
