"Lovely trip to Hakuba with the family staying at the footstep of the Iwatake slopes. The snow was on and my family and I had a great time. The cottage is lovely, something you would imagine staying at in the snow or by a lake. Has everything you need in it, from the kitchen to the bathroom. Heating was amazing, and the place was so cozy. Only downfall was the standup piano and my daughter thinking she was John Legend so having to listen to that all night did my head in. "Amazing stay. Old hotel but very cozy. Breakfast was average- they had lot of variety though. For the price, it was ok. We were 4 staying in one room and didn't really feel that it was too congested. Lounge is extremely cozy after a day on mountains. They have a dry room which is great use for skiers. Onsen is awesome especially the one outside. We were using it every day. Must try dinner buffet especially because it comes with unlimited drinks, food was ok. But worth the price, i think. Staff...

"My partner and I had the most amazing time at Ember Lodge in Hakuba! The staff were so welcoming and the service was incredible. Mike and Leo organised a pick-up and drop off service for us. Breakfast cooked and served to us each morning with an option for a cooked dinner as well which was delicious. The location was perfect too, only an 5-10min walk to the ski lifts. Already looking to book another trip here!"

"Great location. 3 minutes walk to Iwatake gondola. Family room is quite big for 4 of us. Facilities are a bit old but well maintained. Dinners on site are very delicious but breakfasts are average. Onsen is a big plus, very nice after a day on the slopes. Staffs are kind and friendly too. "
