"Hotel Gruener Sand was a very nice place, very clean room, courteous staff, helpful for someone like me that speaks very little German. Dinners were delicious in the little pub, and breakfast was also delicious. Very personalized care, and the only thing that I would recommend for the room(s)m, would be a little apartment size refrigerator. We had some juice drinks that needed refrigeration. "There is a digital check in at the property, no front desk staff. Check in is a bit confusing but be sure to check your hotel confirmation email for check out procedures (I didn't). Property is well kept and they are renovating the italian restaurant next door which will likely be up and running in the spring. Very quiet neighborhood and room and bathroom were spotless."

"I did enjoy my stay here, nice quite hotel. I did book a queen room unfortunately they gave me a twin room?! Didn't complain tho as I arrived late and was too tired. There is not alot around the hotel so if you need anything such as drink, snacks, toiletries I would recommend getting them before you go. Overall though this is a nice wee hotel in the countryside 😊"
