"Staff great. Good, easy breakfast. I mentioned to staff that I always feel safe there and the friendly lady at check out said "port police don't play!". I had never thought about that but I think she is correct! Safe place. "

"Room was clean. No way to toddler/kid proof the door so it just opens without a top latch. Security rushed us out the parking lot at 11:00am on the dot even as he saw us loading everything into the car. Food at the bar&grill was good but the serving sizes were NOT worth the price. My children ate adult size meals and were still hungry.. 7 fried shrimp and about 9 French fries for $18.99+ tax 😳 the staff at both the hotel and bar&grill were friendly."

"Check in friendly & fast. This is a fairly new hotel about a block from the beach. We only stayed 1 night before our cruise. They offer cruise parking and a shuttle to port. We will definitely stay again for our next stay and our cruise out of Galveston"

"The Olivier House is very unique and full of antiques and older furnishings, so you need very clean and new this isn’t your hotel. We stayed in a separate building around the corner that was historical and we had a kitchen. I had to ask for a kitchen towel but otherwise had enough dishes so we could cook eggs for breakfast a few of the mornings. There is a complete coffee station in the main hotel. "The 1st room i was in the ac didnt work. They moved ua to another room and that 1 leaked a pool size puddle from the ac not working either. "

"As a boutique in an older building, jacked some of the amenities of newer and it was dated of course. The majority of the staff and the gm were very accommodating and first oriented. Would stay there again."

"little boutique hotel , totally renovated and located in the heart of the quarter. Their breakfast place is SO good that we ate there every morning. 10 min walk to jax square. Bathroom is small, pillows are on the smaller side. so if you want a big , luxurious room, this won't work for you. BUT, if you want location/location/location, clean and cute, this is it"

"Bourbon Orleans is a great hotel. Centrally located in the French Quarter so everything is really walkable. The rooms are nice although the pillows are much to thick for me personally. Staff are very nice and helpful. This is our go to hotel when we stay in NOLA. I recommend."
