Loved the quaintness of this hotel. The staff at the front desk were phenomenal. We had a wonderful breakfast at the restaurant, Compere Lapen. This is a James Beard awarded restaurant. Our room was huge, with hardwood floors which were somewhat slanted. After all the building is very old. Would definitely return if we come back to New Orleans.

Sure, the bones are old, but it’s history is what defines this place… It’s close to anything you’d want to do, yet far enough away from the antics of Bourbon St to allow you experience the city.
