Hotel Bosone Palace had an outstanding location right next to major sights of Gubbio. The staff was super friendly and helpful and had upgraded us to a room with a terrace with views to the valley without asking. The breakfast was great, served in a room coveres with frescoes. I woud definitely stay again!

Overlooked gem.

Beautiful medieval town with modern amenities and great restaurants. Free parking is available in the garage by the cable car.

It needs a facelift desperately even though I understand an old palazzo which needs to be protected but being a 4-star hotel, it needs hit certain standards. I’ve been staying at countless hotels in the past 20 years throughout Italy, and have stayed at hotels in more than 51 countries in the world at this point in my life.

Not easy parking, but i am very disappointed becuase I had to leave the hotel 2 days before scheduled , and they couldn’t reinburse any money. They say Expedia didn’t allow them to do it. Expedia knew about the change of dates before I arrived to Italy. Not fair at all.

Pros: in the heart of Gubbio,in a fascinating historic palace. Cons: it is totally unacceptable that an hotel that wants to be a 4* hotel hires rooms without Air Conditioning. I expect that an "Economy room" may be small or have a poor view, but not without air conditioning! In 2023, in a touristic place in Italy! The receptionist told us that, of course, rooms with air conditioning were available, but at higher rates... The room (toilet, linen) was clean, but when we had to open the windows to breathe, we had to deal with very dirty shutters. So, in general, experience really under expectations.

Hotel situato in una struttura storica in pieno centro. Stanza piccola ma confortevole.Arredata rispecchiando lo stile antico della struttura. Ottima pulizia sia della stanza che degli spazi comuni.
