"Loved our stay here at the Apartamentos Turísticos Alhambra. We took the #3 bus that was very close by and were able to get anywhere we wanted in the city. The host was a lovely lady, super friendly and responsive. Two issues to be aware of - there are no screens (which looks to be the norm in Malaga) so you do need to deal with the occasional mosquito. "I highly recommend Elvira Suites. We got an amazing duplex apartment for six that was spacious, clean, and had all the essentials (including a cortesy bottle of red wine!) The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of everything and very close to a parking garage.
