The room itself was nice but the pictures advertised on Expedia were definitely a false representation of the actual room. I chose the room as it stated it had a four poster bed and a bath with jets. "I have stayed at the Minster Hotel before the rooms are beautiful breakfast plentiful and variety of fresh yogurt grapefuit apple cereals plus a hearty english breakfast cooked to order and staff very accommodating and friendly. The stairs are my only issue and i suggest u try and get a room on a lower level but other than that a fantastic hotel close to all that York has to offer. "

"The room was meant to be soundproof but could hear next door for starters, then we seen it wasn’t a king size bed but two single beds put together which wasn’t very comfortable to say the least. Also two of the rooms I’d say are used for permanent residence. Then passing pedestrians through the night was noisy was irritating to say the least. We couldn’t work the heating system for the room.
