"This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. It was a great find for the pinch we were in when the trains were shut down and we didnt have a place to stay."

"The staff was remarkable. Every effort was made for us to have a perfect stay. The food and bar were great. 3/4 of us do not drink alcohol and the bartender had certification in non alcohol drinks! It was so fun for us to be able have fun drinks along with our friends!"

The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great tv, freebies and the bathroom has an amazing shower and enough space for all you need. The surrounding area is perfect with amazing cafes, restaurants and small businesses and has easy access into the city centre on foot and by bus. "Eden Locke is an amazing place to stay in Edinburgh. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Locke Studio and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a washer and dryer, plates, fridge, it was like a mini apartment! I became quite sick after arriving and was able to recoup for several days while my family explored everything, which was close by. Blinds made the bedrooms so dark - while hearing the rain outside … loved that! Only negatives were: The master bed was quite small for two tall people.
