The Hoxton is an excellent value and very comfortable stay. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Very welcoming place to be. Walkable to tram station, Dean village, old town, and new town. The pillows and bed were so comfortable…. I would definitely stay here again!!

Love love love this hotel! It’s beautifully styled, super clean and cozy (I want to live in that duvet), with the most amazing staff. Everyone was absolutely lovely and always so helpful! Patatino (in house restaurant was delicious- get the gnocchi). Loved being so close to the tram, but also most places were very walkable. Thanks for making my trip so lovely!

This is one incredible hotel too stay in when you visit Edinburgh, its a 3 min walk from Haymarket station. And the Castle, Royal mile and other areas are within walking distance. It’s very safe area. The staff are amazing and make your stay perfect! The rooms are beautiful. And the onsite restaurants are amazing too. I will definitely be staying again.

The accommodations are spectacular - room was very comfortable. I did sort of expect a tv with some updated features like streaming however it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The restaurant was outstanding.

This is the prettiest hotel I’ve stayed in so far! I loved the interior, the rooms were very spacious, clean, and cozy at the same time. The location is very convenient and walkable to major attractions. I’m so glad I booked this hotel, if I come back to Edinburgh I’m definitely staying here again. The staff are very friendly and welcoming too.

This is a new hotel in a beautiful location. I was able to walk everywhere. Parking is not easy, so if you don’t need a car I would skip the rental. The hotel has a restaurant and bar. Food was good at the bar, I did not eat at the restaurant which is separate. Staff was incredibly friendly. The bartenders made good drink recommendations, and had quick service. The room was great. Lighting was a little weird in my opinion very soft lighting which made the room feel dark. The bath towels were huge and so cozy. I would definitely stay there again!

Some observations for the management: 1. Bedroom had no bin in the room; 2. I was asked if there were any allergies at breakfast. Sugar is an accelerant for cancer, but you only offered jams. Could you offer Marmite or Vegemite as an alternative. 3. Not that I would have had it, but a Scottish hotel should have Marmalade. Loved the stay. Will be staying often in the future. JG

I had an excellent stay at The Hoxton - can’t fault the accommodation or the staff at all. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, warm - a lovely place to spend time due to the gorgeous styling. The staff were all so warm and welcoming, and made me feel very at home. The new hotel is beautiful, and despite it being an old building it’s still quiet and warm - no draughts or chill. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Despite being on the second floor, the water pressure in the shower was excellent. I would absolutely recommend a stay here, and would love to visit again myself soon!
