"We loved this hotel located on a quiet street very close to the central train station. The room was spacious with beautiful, warm lighting and a small refrigerator and a fine and clean bathroom. The staff were uniformly excellent; welcoming and friendly and helpful. Of special note, Virginie, of the front desk staff, was exceptional- warm and exceedingly helpful with directions and recommendations; truly appreciated and enjoyed. "The General Manager Laurence was a true gentleman. The hotel is situated in a great location, and the perfect setting to explore the city. As a family we did make use of the bar area, and breakfast facilities which were perfect. The kids managed to run around and tire themselves in the lobby... we may have not witnessed the night life of Ghent, but if you're a family looking for a comfortable stay, this is your hotel."

It's a nice neighborhood to walk around, but it's a pretty long walk to any restaurants and the city center. We did that walk - in pouring rain! - but we like to walk. "Although not a typical B&B (no breakfast offered), we would readily return to this accommodation. It is charmingly situated in the old town and very conveniently located to tour the beautiful city of Ghent. The proprietor was exceedingly friendly and helpful. It is small, consisting of two rooms and has no frills, but it was comfortable and met all our needs. It would me more convenient, if the owner accepted credit cards. Cash only is accepted now. We did not use the parking, so cannot...
