"Staff were excellent, as was the breakfast. Not the hotel’s fault but there are many stray dogs in the area which although friendly enough when you walk near them spend most of the night howling or barking or fighting which made sleeping very difficult. "

"Beautiful hotel, service was impeccable and the views absolutely stunning! Highly recommend a stay for rest and relaxation. A hidden gem."

"Nicely decorated and comfortable hotel but a little out of town from restaurants and night life. I would certainly recommend it for a quiet relaxing stay."

"Mary and Steve were exceptional hosts and their two children were great as well. They were very accommodating and had a beautiful property to stay on. They very much open up their homes and are willing to share it as much as possible."

"Amazing staff and a great location. Beautiful views from the rooms which were more than edequate for me. The food was great too."

"Lovely place, very friendly staff. But it is necessary to pay with cash only so visitors need to be prepared before arrival. "

"Good clean property with decent air con, and very helpful staff. Great location in Kandy close to main attractions. Quality of hotel quite basic but good given the budget price, didn’t have any food so can’t comment on this. Would go back again especially if wanting a more budget option in Kandy. "

"This hotel was absolutely fantastic. Great Staff soooo suportive they helped me carrying all my stuff. Great Breakfast (omelettes with fresh and delicious fruit, milk tea, and water), great room big, cool enough, great bathroom, and the best of all is pretty close to tooth temple and the big budha. This place is a MUST."

I also provided him with a booking confirmation to see if my reservation included breakfast, and I promised to complain to hotel.com after returning to Hong Kong. Unfortunately, I have been calling Hotel.com but have not responded. I hope that hotel. Upon seeing this comment, com will follow up and pay the hotel owner’s...

"Very Nice Hotel Nice view comfetable stay at the Hotel"

"Very special place 30 or so minutes outside of Kandy, near Wattegama. A few individual cabin-esque rooms (with en-suite) around a cute courtyard of natural spring pool, pond, hammocks etc. Very attentative hosts who really demonstrate Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. The walk around the spice garden and local village was so interesting. Such a unique bonus to make this more of an experience than just a bed for the night. The food we had was some of the best we ate all trip. Definitely...
