"Eden Oak Geelong A big Thank You to the staff for your caring support. We originally booked two nights to recover from jet lag and do some sight-seeing, but eating some bad food the morning we arrived changed that plan. You were able to extend our stay a day at a time, gave a good referral to a clinic, and otherwise made us as comfortable as possible. Our room was nice and comfortable and the common areas are architecturally beautiful with a lovely pool area and surroundings. The location is in a park adjacent to the 4th oldest botanic garden in Australia. Beautiful. Shopping is walkable, but maybe better to drive there if you’re carrying groceries. Breakfast buffet is included. It’s a good one, with eggs, meat, hash browns, baked beans, pancakes, lots of breads, and fruit. Dinner is generally by menu, but sometimes by buffet if a group is being hosted. Overall our stay here is a good memory. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is one of the nicest accommodations in this price range. We got lucky with this gem in the park! "

"Have to say the rooms were very clean. You can tell the cleaning crew takes great pride in their work. The room was nice not fancy but the hotel is safe and in a great location. Brenda who checked us in was friendly and professional. Gave us some great recommendations for meals. We would stay again and recommend."
