"This was a standout hotel for our Italy trip. The hotel is stylish with good communal areas, places to sit etc. The room was really comfortable with a balcony from which we see the lake … including a lightening storm behind the mountains The pool was really clean with lots of beds. "We stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon in August. We pre-booked the spa, a cooking class, wine tasting and a cocktail masterclass. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were great, all very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked with delicious fruits, cheeses, meat and pastries. The views of the lake from the top floor restaurant are stunning. We ate at LeBolle twice...

"I didn't explore the area much. But the location is near the train station. I recommend to arrive there before dark or it will be hard to find the way. The room is nice and clean. I think the restaurant there is a famous place for the locals as well because on the Sunday night it was full booked. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to the airport took 10 mins. "

"Das Hotel ist ein typisches Grand Hotel aber leider waren wir von dem Zimmer total enttäuscht . Man vermietete uns ein Zimmer mit einer Verbindungstür als eigenständiges Zimmer. Diese Tür war so dünn, dass wir jedes Wort und vor allem jedes Geräusch genau hören konnten. Da an Schlaf nicht zu denken war, mussten wir mitten in der Nacht umziehen. "We spent 5 wonderful days in May at the Belvedere. The rooms have an incredible lake view and are just lovely. The breakfast, included, has a generous selection. We dined 3 nights at the hotel restaurant which is absolutely elegant and offers delicious food. The staff was helpful and very courteous. The island is very small and everything is “right there”. Definitely a place we will remember and go back to!"

"First and foremost the air conditioning in the room was amazing for an American!!!! Not your typical European AC. Also there was a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was plentiful as an European breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would love to stay here again. We had a double bed and plenty of spacious room for each of us within the room. We even had a little balcony."

"The hotel is very scenic and the grounds are lovely especially the pool area. Staff are very helpful too, room was perfect, good size and comfy bed. You can relax here all day and the views are amazing. It’s a bit of a walk up so recommend coming by car/taxi but going down is ok and a supermarket at the bottom and bus stop where you can get to town within 10 mins and Varese nord station. The only negative is the food, it just wasn’t to my liking and good value. I would definitely come back."
