"Absolutely amazing stay here!! Beautiful hotel, friendly, very helpful staff, incredible view, Great restaurants in area ( favourite being Yak n Yeti!!!)! Close to Castle, the Igreja Do Sao Jorge, great coffee shops, Fado in nearby restaurants….. and so much more!!!! Friendly neighbourhood!!! Loved this ancient area known as the Alfama district. So many beautiful walks and many things to discover down the twisting cobble streets"

"The front desk area smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. Our room was huge but we did have an issue with the bathroom - the shower door would not stay closed and the shower was very tiny. The hotel itself is hard to find and located on a VERY busy street. The staff was very nice, breakfast was tasty and the room was large. They also provided us with free water & wine in our room on arrival, which was a nice touch. "

"Beautiful hotel in a secluded location. It’s located uphill with tight alleyways, so cabs/ubers may struggle to get you there but the hotel scheduled pick ups without issue. Walking to and from town was easy enough but definitely not for the mobility impaired."

"Centrally located. Air system in rooms does not work well. For the price we paid I would not stay there again. Old and needs refreshing. Although we faced the street we had no view. There are better hotels."

Loved all the little details like tea time at 5, chocolate in room, front desk always there to arrange airport pick ups/drop offs, and to answer any and all questions. Breakfast was fantastic! Sooooo super clean too and comfortable beds. I highly recommend and will be back when in Lisbon!"

"Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Lisbon! The hosts were extremely attentive and made our check-in process effortless. They sent a detailed WhatsApp message with clear instructions on how to enter the property and how to get there — which was incredibly helpful, as the apartment is located at the top of a hill. Their tips about the nearby elevators were much appreciated and made arriving with our bags much easier! We thought the location was incredible — just a stone’s throw from the castle and...
