"This was honestly the best stay I had ! I even tried to extend my stay but they’re so in demand that they were booked up! Lovely location near wonderful restaurants super close to the beach and the train station! David is amazing he personally made sure I was comfortable in my stay. 10 stars all around would definitely come back on my next visit. "

No staff in front of the hotel to help with the luggage. This was a surprise. Only inside help.
Very slow to get cappuccinos at breakfast, few fruits, no kiwis even at request."
"View from restaurant and bar is very nice, the room balcony on 4th floor pretty good too. Staff are wonderfully attentive, even as a lone traveller made to feel important and house keeping excellent. The spa is brilliant, had 2 massages over 2 night stay, one of the most relaxing ever."
"We stayed at Hotel Gounod for one night in September! It was so pleasant. From the easy check in, clean room, great breakfast in the AM, and its location … we loved it! They even held our bags for us after check out until we were ready to leave Nice. I would definitely recommend!"

"Great location for dining in the old town - shops close and a tram for getting to the station and around. We took the train to Monaco which was easy to do. Hotel very clean and lovely to walk out across the road to the promenade and the beach. You can just go on the public area- pebbly though!- or can pay for a lounger - quite expensive €20+- the sea shelves quite steeply and if the sea is strong a challenge getting out but we made it. "Stay was great! Great area, friendly staff, and grounds were beautiful the hotel! The only thing it was a bit noisy where our room was located and since they have uneven cement flooring we heard all the room service carts go by when in the room. "
