I am from the West Coast in California and it is a long journey to get there upon arrival. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It is everything that I wanted in terms of a retreat and a place to really have a sense of peace. "Very nice "premium" property. Great amenities overlooking the water. Wonderful, attentive and interested staff. Breakfast was very good, but got booring after a few days. Some aspects of the room were a little tired and different (like the bathroom lighting was insufficient) but it was a very pleasant and spacious room. Bar drinks were priced more like NY than the Azores. Overall, a very pleasant stay. "

"Couldn't locate the showers for the Turkish sauna so was unable to shower before. Also , one of the saunas had no humidity and the other was too hot! Otherwise, all else was superb including the delicious meals and the staff. We really enjoyed our visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
