"Rooms were clean with amenities. Service staff (Dorothy) is friendly and helped recommend dining places and things to do around Furano. It’s convenient if you have a car and parking was not an issue as there’s a large parking area about 3-5 mins away by foot if you can’t parked at the smaller carpark beside the hotel. It’s just around a ski slope but we didn’t make use of that since we went in summer."
"Peaceful, beautiful scenery and homely. The hosts were friendly and helpful to share about transport and food options, and answered my questions when I had difficulty navigating Furano (my first time in Hokkaido). As a solo traveler without a car, I am grateful that they picked me up on my first day and sent me to the bus stop on my last day. House is very comfortable and spacious. Thanks Penguin and Jane for being such great hosts!"
"Some rooms has refurbished, the mattress quite old although the staff try to give the best service mind but some case can’t be replace for it such as the time limit for breakfast start at 7am till 8:30 was time out then staffs hurry up to close down even a drink corner was immediately empty ☹️"
"The photos were accurate as well as the description. It’s a very cozy place in an insanely beautiful location. The exterior might be shocking to some expecting a high end house but it was wonderful and spacious inside. "
