"Very friendly welcome and lovely spacious room. A thermos of fresh milk was ready for us every evening on the reception counter for tea/ coffee in our room the next morning. Breakfast was delicious with excellent selection of fruit, yoghurt, granola and choice of cooked breakfast. The location is excellent too. A short 10 minute walk and you're on the beach at Instow. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. "

"The rooms were recently renovated and the beds were comfortable, out door pool was lovely maybe needs a bit of lovin but very nice, breafast was delicious and all staff were amazing would I return to this hotel absolutely. Thanks for a lovely stay guys 😊"

"Room tired, very hot as upstairs. No fan, ironing board or iron. No mini fridge to store cold drinks. Room very small, uneven floor with shower over the bath. Staff were nice and friendly. Bar and restaurant not great. Ran out of glasses, coffee machine was broken. Food ok but not great. items not available at 6pm on a Friday evening. Breakfast items not available."

"I booked a single room and the room was fine, however, there's been a heatwave in the UK and it continued while I was staying at this hotel. I would have thought that, given there is no air conditioning in the hotel rooms and the heatwave was ongoing, a fan would have been provided. My room faced west so it was quite hot and it didn't cool down much as the evening progressed because there was no cross breeze - just one window on one side of the room. "I searched for a property with parking, but it's only street parking. The road to the property is very dangerous to get in/out of, and parking difficult (I not a nasty note from a neighbour because I parked in front of their garden path. Wouldn't stay here again because of road and parking - but if you're not driving, it's a lovely property. Public path right along property - hope you're not bashful when in the shower!"

"A lovely thatched roof pub with sitting out area. The lady was so lovely and welcoming we can’t remember her name but she lived right by the pub. The room was lovely, a nice comfortable bed, lovely pillows and lovely and clean. The lady who was cleaning the rooms was on her own that day and we asked if we could check in early the day before. "I had booked a 4 night stay for some r&r choosing to stay in the manor house. My 1st day there was a wedding being held at the Manor House, some facilities not available or restricted. I had not been informed of this event, my day of r&r sadly not forthcoming. An outdoor pool was not available, in the middle of a heatwave, apparently our of season in July. The rooms I was able to enter in the manor house are tired and need a refresh, my room had black mould in the bathroom, a ceiling extractor...

"Lovely well equipped lodge. Beautiful main bedroom view with large window and comfortable bed. Outdoor pool not in use and sauna also out of action. Felt prices for activities were steep especially at least £10 PP so £40 for a family of 4. Indoor pool area didnt match quality of the rest of the resort with dated and run down looking changing rooms. Overall a really pleasant stay during first week of july. Only did 2 mights which was enough. Very quiet. Saw approx 10 families during our stay."
