"The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. "

"A very enjoyable stay in a dated hotel. We were in a lovely clean and spacious room with a very good en-suite bathroom with a good bath and shower too. Friendly staff and a very good breakfast. We will definitely stay there again when we’re In Cheshire."

"I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process"

"Access was easy, room clean and as described. Only drawback was my room was roadside and was affected by the traffic noise. Could triple glazing be used to avoid any noise?"

"The property was fine, could do with a repaint and maybe new carpets as it’s dated. But staff were lovely and food was nice There wasn’t many plug sockets in the room so we had to take turns in using the only socket available"

One of the best stays I have ever had in the UK other than those over £300 per night (not often) and this was a third of that price. "
