"The room smelled like a dirty dog,the hallway on the second floor smelled like the sewer .may have been from the ice machine, the elevator didn't work Saturday night or sunday on the 2nd floor.the staff said both coffee machines were out of order at Sunday breakfast also out of pancake mix at 9:00 am."

"Well, first when I got there to check in the attendant was “on a break“ then the next morning when I went to the desk because I didn’t have a tag for no maid service for the door he was “on a break” then when I went to check out, he was “on a break“, his name was Norman and he was pleasant enough, but he was never available three times in a two day stay was a bit ridiculous. Also the floor was very dirty. And then there was a cockroach in the bathroom, I understand that Ridgecrest is the desert and there’s going to be bugs. I understand that, but in all the times I’ve ever stayed in a hotel in Ridgecrest, which a couple of years ago was a lot when I was visiting, but I never had a bug problem. I was highly disappointed in this Clarion establishment."

"As we checked in, we were told that they charge a security deposit because they often have bed bugs from campers that stay there. That was a turn off. The room was very small and outdated. We stayed for 30 minutes while booking a room at a different hotel. "
