"We stayed here on an overnight lay over. The accommodations were fine. The staff was ok, neither friendly or unkind. The room was outdated but the bed was extremely comfortable and after traveling over 14 hours was a welcome delight. The food was good but the staff in the dining room was not helpful at all and seemed uninterested in being in a service position. We had a late dinner and breakfast there. "I loved the attention to detail in the room. Chocolate on the desk next to the bed, cabinet to enclose the mini fridge and snacks, bottled water, ice already in the ice bucket, slippers by the bed and a personal message on the tv when I walked in. It was elegance through and through. The staff were amazing and it was only a two minute walk from the O.R. Tambo Airport. "The Four Seasons Westcliff was our first stop upon arriving in South Africa, where we met up with family and friends who reside in Johannesburg.
We were warmly greeted at check-in by Precious the process was very smooth. Very much appreciated after flying for over 30 hours from California.
Our room was very well appointed with welcome treats provided.
