Nice clean room and bathroom. Only a couple of small issues. Hair dryer usage was woeful. Cord not long enough to be able to be used near a mirror, lighting in bathroom wasn’t great and air con was hard to control. Bed was comfortable

I originally booked the Radisson RED Hotel, but due to overbooking I was transferred to Southern Sun Rosebank, just about five minutes away. Thankfully, the transition was smooth, the staff were accommodating, welcoming, and handled everything professionally. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-designed. Breakfast was buffet style with a wide variety of options to choose from, which I really enjoyed. They also offer a shuttle to the mall or train station, a convenient perk for getting around. Overall, my stay was pleasant and comfortable. Even though my arrival was unexpected, the team made me feel taken care of. I was impressed enough that I returned and booked directly with Southern Sun for my next stay.

Home away from home vibes

I received an upgrade that I was very great full for. The atmosphere is relaxed, it felt like a home away from home, which is what l look for when on a business trip.

Great stay for business trip

I was in Joburg for a work trip and this was the perfect place to stay. Staff was super friendly and location is great in Rosebank. I also enjoyed the gym and drinks at the rooftop. Great breakfast selection. Room was big, spacious and confortable. Wifi was great

This hotel is in a unique location surrounded by very nice restaurants and dining options, and within a couple of blocks from Rosebank mall. Certainly will come back when visiting Johannesburg

Pros: 1. Location in Rosebank is perfect. Walking distance to Rosebank Mall, eateries, bars, restaurants 2. Staff were lovely and took great pride in the Radisson brand. We had a foul smell in the room we were in (from the bathroom). They actioned it promptly by sending maintenance, and also offering a new room to move to, they were kind about it and encouraged us to move to ensure we had a happy stay. 3. Location. Location. Location. I know I said it already but felt super safe here, which is exactly what I wanted. Security guard’s outside. Staff around the clock. Easy access. Cons: 1. The hotel itself is dated. Needs a bit of love to bring it on par with other hotels in the area like Hyde. 2. Things like towels and floor mats really need a spruce / clean out. Some were haggered and stained.

New property in a great location walkable to mall and they have a shuttle that takes you to both malls. The rooms are quite small unless you upgrade to a suite. Priced well. Very friendly staff. Nice rooftop bar.

The property needs some adjustments. The room didn’t have wash cloths. I had to ask everyday for a wash cloth. The laundry service is expensive. It would have been nice for the room to have a robe and slippers. The staff is nice and professional. Overall it was nice stay.

The staff wasn't very nice except for the front desk staff. It seems they are very cold towards black americans. We were consistently ignored in the hotels restaurant and roof top bar. The hours for both the rooftop bar and restaurant are inconsistent. For two days in a row the water was shut off without any compensation for the inconvenience. The hotel is located in a very nice with tons of restaurants with amazing food.
