This hotel is a great option if you want to stay within walking distance of the city centre. It’s conveniently located near the train station, and the breakfast is great. However, it’s important to note that the hotel is located on the second floor and doesn’t have an elevator.

My partner and I stayed for four nights and found the stay very pleasant. The staff were extremely friendly and on hand for any questions. The hotel had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location was perfect for sightseeing and transport. Would definitely stay again if we return to Florence.

The property is cute and conveniently located, close to the train station and walkable to all sites. Staff is super friendly. Only draw back is no lift, so carrying large luggage is a challenge

More like a pensione than a hotel. Small, friendly, well situated with both the train station and the Mercato Centrale a stone’s throw away. A lovely breakfast is included as well as solid recommendations for non- touristy Florentine restaurants. We would definitely return!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Marios. It was a great location, and the breakfast buffet every morning was a great start to the day. The bed was very uncomfortable and our sleeps weren’t great because of that. Otherwise we were satisfied with our stay.

It's a small hotel at the quiet end of one of the main streets, 4 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella station and from the Fortezza da Basso conference centre. My single room was small but comfortable. The breakfast was good (although the hot selection wasn't great, there are numerous other sweet and savoury options).

Freindly, character full family run hotel

An amazing stay, perfectly located on old town. Quiet, comfortable breakfast was plentiful and varied, thank you Isobel, a lovely friendly lady making sure everything available ad tables cleared, with a few words and a smile. All staff were cheerful no complaints at all. On a foot street, so no noise outside, limited vehicle access times so ensure your taxi can get to it. Not a great issue 50 metres from road. There is a flight of stairs up to entrance and reception so no go for wheel chairs. All in all great hotel and worth a return visit
