The room and bathroom were spacious, staff helpful and friendly and location was perfect. I thoroughly recommend City Hotel which is a short walk from the train station, the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and everything you could want in Florence. The manager was particularly helpful.

This was the friendliest, cleanest hotel I have stayed at in all my trips to Italy. When I come to Florence I will ALWAYS stay here. The front desk staff are kind and gave good directions and recommendations. Breakfast was great and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here as it’s close to the SMN train and all the important sites in Florence! Well done!!!!

Loved the location of this little hotel. We were able to easily stop in and rest/freshen up and then be right back out there. The street the hotel is located on had lots of Asian/Chinese restaurants and markets. While we did not eat at any of the restaurants (they seemed quite busy) we did enjoy being able to pop into the Asian markets for some quick drinks and snacks. The staff at this hotel were all so friendly and helpful.
